Comments :

I named my daughter (born in 1999) after our best friend, Maria. In 1984, I was in Biloxi. My husband, Maria and I were all in the AF. I had a bad cold and Maria suggested Nyquil. "Yuck!" Later, while medicated, I combined Maria + Nyquil = Nylea. (Pronounced Ni-lee-a). I love both Nyleas in my life. I posted a picture of my daughter on a knitting website with her name. How funny the name became popular after that post. - Julie
