The Power Couple: Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy's Expecting 3rd child together

They say that true love can last a lifetime, but when it comes to Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, it could be argued that their love story has transcended time itself. The couple first met while filming the 2006 movie Evening, where they played on-screen lovers and soon after sparks began to fly between them. Little did they know that their on-screen reunion would lead to a real-life romance as well as an eventual marriage, two children and now a third bundle of joy on the way.

Though it may seem like these two have been together for an eternity, the fact is that their relationship has seen its fair share of ups and downs over the years. After becoming engaged in 2009, the couple officially tied the knot in a lovely ceremony held in France later that same year.

As both Claire and Hugh are accomplished actors in their own right, they do face certain difficulties being away from one another when filming projects. The distance can be quite corrosive at times according to Danes who also stated ‘We learned along the way how essential it is for us to be physically together as often as possible’ during an interview with Net A-Porter Magazine.

The next stage of their relationship saw them become parents once again when they welcomed Rowan into their family four years ago in 2018. With two young boys already under their care, there was no end in sight for this couple’s growing family until recently when news broke out about Claire’s latest pregnancy with baby number three set to join this dynamic duo soon.

Speaking about his wife’s recent Golden Globe nomination for her role in Fleishman Is In Trouble he told W Magazine “When I first met my wife and we just literally got together she basically said look if we're going to know each other you sit down and watch this start to finish” providing fans with a funny insight into the early days of their relationship.

The couple has yet to announce whether they are expecting another boy or girl but it looks like fans will soon find out once the baby arrives! Meanwhile, both Hugh and Claire have been busy with their respective projects; him playing Senior Assistant District Attorney Nolan Price on NBC revival Law & Order while she stars as Carrie Mathison on Homeland. Despite all this speculation however one thing is certain; with over 14 years of marriage between them so far there is no doubt that this love story will continue on forever more!
